I’m on the hunt of finding a perfect BB Cream to try on.Since I already finish 5th tube of PONDS BB CREAM in beige. And I was hoping to try other products that works the same or way better than ponds.Do you think I found a perfect replacement? So careline recently launched their new packaging of BB CREAM.It comes in 2 shades. The one I got is NATURAL and the other shade is FRESH which is too lighter on my skintone. And So I decided to get natural hoping that it blends well and match my color.Testers are not available for unknown reason.

It claims to have whitening ingredient and dermatology tested.I got it for only P120.00 and it’s 25ml…why not?Very affordable isn’t it?

It comes in squeezable plastic tube which makes it easier for you to control the amount of products. And the packaging is really attractive.

Now does the price dictates the quality?Honestly, most of the time the answer is “NO!” but now it’s a “YES!”

What I like:

Very affordable

Simple and cute packaging

Easy to control the amount of product

Might last for a few months – very savy

Available locally

Easy to blend at FIRST HAND

A little goes a long way

Very liquid-y

Lightweight

It mattifies at FIRST APPLICATION

Nice coverage at FIRST APPLICATION

What I don’t like:

It comes in 2 shades only

Has a strong scent – very strong (smells like old fashioned lotion) Sad!

The smell is not tolerable

Dries quickly – make sure to blend it right away

Grayish color – natural seems to look light on me (not applicable for morena)

It oxidizes on me turning into patches

It settles into pores

It sting

Light coverage that tends to cake – Very cake-y after minutes of application

Oil builds up fast – after 30mins on me

Not long wearing

Not good for oily skin

Very dewy after minutes of application

My experience using this BB cream

AFTER APPLYING MY MAKE-UP (9:51 AM)

I SEE WHITE PATCHES AND SCRATCHES ON MY FACE SPECIFICALLY MY NOSE AND CHEEKS

I have high hopes for this product.Though I read and watch reviews about the old packaging.I thought they change the formula as well most esp the strong scent. But sad to say it’s just the packaging.I don’t regret the price but It was really disappointing. On the first application I was like “wow?nice” though I really hate the smell. Then minutes after taking photos I easily noticed the changes.I was shocked with the white patches,I tend to oil up,very oily on my T-zone area even my cheeks which is unusual. It also emphasize the dryness and white heads around my nose.My face looks cake-y. I washed my face right away because I felt some sting under my eyes and around my mouth,I have never experience that.I don’t know.I have sensitive skin but that something different.I’m afraid that I might breakout. . . which I did after few hours.

  1. Nice review Ms. Lyn nagbabalak pa naman sana ako bumili ng BB cream from EB kasi very affordable but after kung mabasa to baka magaya din sakin yung na experience mo, mas madefine yung mga white heads and nag ssettle siya sa mga pores. And one thing po pala ganun ba talaga karamihan sa BB cream, maamoy like old fashioned lotion? Thankyou for the honest review! 🙂
