LOREAL MICELLAR WATER & COMPARISON

Disclaimer: Unbiased review for your reference. I have smooth skin but I’m not spared from pores on my cheeks, redness around my nose and appearance of veins. Also, I have combination skin; I get oily on my t-zone area. For the lipstick I love wearing semi to matte formulation and with that, I have high tolerance with matte lipstick. Also, I always exfoliate my lips. Better check your skin types and preferences DO NOT put the blame if certain product doesn’t work the same.

CLAIMS: HIGH PERFORMANCE, HYPO-ALLERGENIC! Gentle even on sensitive skin type! Micellar Water is highly recommended for OILY skin type. See the magic for yourself with micelle ingredients originated from Europe which acts like magnet to remove all impurities.

It says its a 3 in 1:

  • Cleanse
  • Remove Makeup
  • Soothe

I had to get it since I run out of my micellar from Maybelline but least expect anything special since I knew from the start that they are sister company. In terms of its formula and quality do they  differ? it feels exactly like water and does it works almost exactly like Maybelline?.  The only differences are the packaging, claims and price but there is more of that as you continue reading this.

Packaging: It comes in Blue which is good for Oily skin and Pink for sensitive skin; according to the loreal staff. I like the packaging of this more than Maybelline; I just find it more decent and classy. It doesn’t spill, which shows that it has more secured cover than of the maybelline.

Price: P225.00 a difference of P26.00 pesos from Maybelline

Performance: I love how it instantly removes my lipstick and my tint without wasting too much product. I had to consume only two pads in order to remove the whole makeup on my face. When it comes to waterproof mascara and liquid eyeliner I had to do it 2-3 times to assure that I don’t have any panda eyes or black stain left around my eyes.  This is savvier to use in my own opinion compared to Maybelline, maybe because it works better? I’ve been using this for 2 months now and yet I only consumed little amount.  Unlike with Maybelline it lasted me for less than 2 months.

Now if you were to ask me which one I prefer in terms of performance and practicality? I would go for Loreal.

xoxo
